Hi, it's me...

I heard this quote once and it resonated with me...

"A tourist is someone looking to escape life, and a traveller is someone who is looking to experience life”

When I was 18 years old, while in my isolated home town in Western Australia, I started working in the Music Industry. Since then, all I wanted to do was go on tour and travel the world. After a few years of hard work and dedication, that dream finally came true and I spent the next 10 years on the road, traveling Australia and Internationally while working for bands and musicians. It was epic!

I lived in 4 major Australia cities, always constantly on the move throughout my 20’s. In my spare time while not traveling with work, I would travel with friends. Australia, New Zealand, UK, Europe, China, Malaysia, Indonesia & Japan. (Multiple visits to each)

I had always wanted to live in another country, at least once in my life. I always had this goal, but it got pushed to the back burner while pursuing my career. When I was 30 years old I realized it was my last opportunity to move to Canada before I reached the age cut off limit of an IEC Visa.

So I packed up my belongings and left behind a job that I absolutely loved, friends and family that I adored and moved to the other side of the world. From the middle of a hot Aussie summer to middle of cold below freezing Canadian winter. I wanted to experience more than the unbalanced work life I had created for myself, i had become workaholic.

For the next 6months, I worked as a receptionist at a hotel and snowboarded for an entire season in Banff, Alberta. On New Years Eve 2018, I met my soulmate... Long story short (& a passionate love story later), we are now happily settled with a house, a dog, a baby girl and another one due soon!

Life is so damn good, but going back to my old career after Maternity Leave made me realize that it is going to be really hard to find a work/family balance. The job requires night shifts, weekends, holidays and the most busy time is during the summer festival months.

Thus, my latest pursuit has been to create an automated online business, which gives me more flexibility and more hours in the day to spend with my family! I want to travel with my kids and show them the world, and discover the beauty in life with them. I want to take them with me! I don’t want to travel for work without them. I want to be there for their weekend sport events, pick them up from school, take them on summer vacations.

Time is our most valuable asset and this is my journey towards time freedom!….
